The 500 series benefits from a 130mm die-cast driver chassis which houses the AE design anodised alloy cone for the mid-range and the bass drive-units. The rigidity of the alloy cone ensures pure-piston action and the cone structure also acts as a heat-sink for the bonded voice coil which enhances power handling. The high-frequency drive-unit used is a 25mm silk-coated fabric dome which matches the clarity of the rest of the system design. Audiophile UPOCC internal wiring is used to encapsulated, premium-grade crossover components. The result is quality sound reproduction offering awe-inspiring bass, speed and dynamics with exceptional clarity, transparency and power handling.
