Radiance Sub
The Radiance Sub is a compact, yet high performance subwoofer designed to compliment the Radiance Series loudspeakers.
An active sealed box design, the Radiance Sub remains controlled under all acoustic conditions - capable of timing perfectly with the most demanding music or producing thunderous explosions with the latest blockbuster films. Featuring a full array of user controllable notch-filters, the Radiance Sub can be tuned accurately to any room - avoiding the "boom" associated with many poorly set-up subwoofer systems.
Technical specification
DXT® Lens - The waveguide surrounding the tweeter (high frequency driver) on all Radiance models features the DXT® Lens to match the way the high frequencies are dispersed into the room environment to that of the mid/bass woofer. The result is a far more natural integration than has previously been possible in a conventional cone speaker, both between the drivers and in the listening room itself.
Aluminium Drivers - This latest iteration of our famed Aluminium cone is more advanced than ever, featuring Pure-Piston™ performance (the cone retains its shape even at full excursion, meaning lower colouration to the sound). With dual-wound Aluminium voice-coils for even greater control, power-handling and heat dissipation - the result is simply less distortion, regardless of volume.
