The new AE100 Series introduces a number of improvements and evolutionary changes all focused on refining the listening experience at the same time as providing a more room friendly loudspeaker. We’ve introduced our WDT tweeter assembly from the AE1 Active, which creates far better in-room dispersion, as well as locating our slot ports to the rear for less midrange colouration and improved bass response. At the same time, the external design has been improved for a more elegant appearance and smaller footprint that should work well in a wide variety of surroundings. With higher quality fit and finish than ever before available from our entry level ranges, new colour and vinyl options and neat magnetic grilles the visual appeal is higher than ever.
The result is a stylish and more powerful range of speakers that embodies all of the qualities that Acoustic Energy is renowned for while taking advantage of everything that we have learned in our continuous process of development.

AE100
The AE100 is a new compact standmount / bookshelf loudspeaker that exhibits qualities which perfectly embody those of Acoustic Energy.
The AE100 has been designed with a view to achieving high sound pressure levels from an extremely small enclosure. This is obtained principally through the use of a 110mm mid-bass drive unit built around an ultra high force, long throw motor system. Bass performance is augmented by a slot shaped duct allowing for a considerable cross sectional area while negating the issues of air turbulence.
A 25mm soft dome tweeter featuring our Wide Dispersion Technology completes the driver compliment, that’s housed within an 18mm MDF cabinet. Taking design cues from the award winning Reference Series and finished in a choice of satin black or walnut vinyl veneer finishes, the AE100 is sure to look good wherever you choose to place it while delivering a sound that belies its compact size.

AE109
The new AE109 is designed to offer effortless, room filling performance from a slimline floorstanding loudspeaker in much the same way the world acclaimed original AE109 did 20 years ago. To do this, two 110mm paper drivers utilising an ultra high force motor system are used in partnership with a 25mm soft dome tweeter. The 2.5 way crossover features a unique topology allowing integration and power handling previously un-achievable from this type of speaker. Particular attention has been paid to the phase and time alignment for the most cohesive performance possible.
Like the AE100 standmount speaker, the driver and crossover are housed within a substantial 18mm MDF cabinet that takes styling cues from the award winning Reference Series. The result is an audio product with clean and uncluttered lines that can still deliver the thrilling and powerful presentation that Acoustic Energy owners have come to expect. Satin black and walnut vinyl veneer finishes are available.

For home cinema and multi-channel music systems, the new AE107 is a two way horizontal mount loudspeaker designed for centre channel applications.
The AE107 delivers exceptional articulation and detail throughout the vocal range, augmented by powerful bass performance from the reflex loaded rear slot port. The compact centre speaker can be sited within a cabinet, shelf or wall mounted.

The AE108 is a new, compact, yet extremely powerful active subwoofer with remote control for easy set-up and adjustability.
Designed to work seamlessly as part of a multi channel system including the new AE100’s, AE109’s and AE107, the AE108 is ideal for the modern home where controlled bass performance is required without compromising the living space.
At less than one cubic foot in size, the AE108 can be positioned discretely and adjusted with the supplied remote control to achieve the ideal audio balance from the listening position.
