HiFiZone review the AE1 Active

It’s been a while since we received a review on the AE1 Active. However, Adam Kiryszewski from Polish magazine Hifizone.pl has recently published this review and we knew you’d want to read it.

“While writing these words, I am listening to the Active model playing in the background and I think that the speakers can also be described in one word: complete. I don’t mean that they have built-in amplifiers. But it’s more about the fact that in this convention and – above all, at this price – it is a very strong proposition. They should be listened to by all those who are looking for active speakers, but for some reason do not want speakers with a built-in streamer, do not want wireless connectivity and similar bells and whistles.

Because Acoustic Energy AE1 Active are simply very good, small active loudspeakers, dedicated to all those who expect, above all, good sound. And nothing else. I will only add that I would definitely buy a more expensive version of the finish, because it looks even better in real life than in the photos. Either way, I highly recommend reading them also to those who have a few thousand for both speakers and an amplifier. Because it may turn out that they will not look further.”
