Below this, redesigned bass and mid drivers feature a shallower carbon fibre cone profile and an ultra-linear motor system, allowing voices and instruments to shine with absolute clarity. These improvements are supported by carefully optimized crossover networks focused on low group delay for seamless driver integration, all housed within Resonance Suppression Composite cabinets enhanced by a new tapered shape that improves the dispersion of internal reflections.

AE500²
The AE500² is the next generation of Acoustic Energy’s acclaimed 500 Series, bringing flagship-derived engineering from the Corinium project into a more accessible loudspeaker range.
At its core is a new 29mm soft dome tweeter paired with a redesigned bass/mid driver, featuring a shallow-profile carbon fibre cone and an ultra-linear motor system for enhanced transparency and a more open midrange. This is supported by a completely reworked crossover network focused on low group delay for superior timing and musical realism.
Housing these acoustic advancements is an evolved faceted trapezoidal cabinet designed to disperse internal reflections, perfectly integrated with contemporary aesthetic details like upgraded aluminium feet, black spikes, and premium silicone trims. The AE500² successfully retains the dynamic balance of the original series while achieving a striking new standard in clarity, coherence, and naturalness.
AE509²
The AE500² floorstanding model brings key technologies from the award-winning Corinium project into a high-performance loudspeaker. Designed as a complete acoustic system, it features a new 29mm soft dome tweeter for enhanced detail and refinement, alongside extensively redesigned carbon fibre bass and midrange drivers with an ultra-linear motor system for reduced coloration and improved transparency.
A completely revised crossover network minimizes group delay to ensure seamless driver integration, while Acoustic Energy’s proven RSC cabinet construction is enhanced by a faceted trapezoidal shape to disperse internal reflections. AE520²
The AE520² is Acoustic Energy’s flagship 3-way floorstanding loudspeaker, bringing technologies from the Corinium programme into the 500 Series. Designed as a unified acoustic system, it combines a new 29mm soft dome tweeter and redeveloped carbon fibre drivers—featuring a shallow-profile cone and ultra-linear motor system—to deliver exceptional transparency, reduced coloration, and a more open midrange.
